  • Other browsers that have the same functionality and support as provided by Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or newer can be used.

Note: When downloading any of the above browsers, if given the option, choose the 128 bit Strong Encryption version over the 40 bit Standard Encryption version.  The 128 bit versions provide added security.

The browser vendor may have recommendations for maintenance releases within the specific version to provide full functionality.

Recent versions of other browsers, such as those from AOL, may also work. This is not guaranteed by Valley Forge Asset Management. Macintosh users require browser functionality similar to the Windows version.

The browser must support "cookies," and this feature must be enabled to maintain secure control of your data while you access Valley Forge Asset Management Online. Non-graphics (text-only) browsers are not supported by the application.

The browser determines operating-system and hardware requirements for your computer. Some features of the supported browsers may not be available on Windows version 3, for example.

Minimum Guidelines

  • Microsoft Windows 95
  • A Pentium-class processor with 16 MB RAM
  • 50 to 100 MB of free disk space for the browser’s temporary work files
  • At least a 28.8K modem for Internet connection

A Macintosh system should be of comparable capacity and performance.

Browser performance with less-capable hardware will be marginal.

As with all Web applications, performance will vary with Internet traffic loads and usage patterns.
